How do I get the 888 Limited Edition, White Private Reserve, foil and gilded deck?

ARE YOU ELIGIBLE? To be eligible, your current pledge must total £54 or higher (this can include your reward levels shipping costs). For example, if you pledged for the ‘4 Split’ reward, thats £50 + £4 shipping if you are US based. This total would be £54 and you would be eligible to go ahead and add on an extra £30 for 1 Private Reserve.

If you’re on a lower value reward level, you can add-on extra funds for additional items from the campaign to help increase your total pledge to be at the eligible £54 or higher. Then you too can add on £30 more for 1 Private reserve deck.

PLEASE NOTIFY ME TO RESERVE YOUR DECK WHEN YOU’VE ADDED IT: Either-way, please message me to let me know you have added on for the Private Reserve, and I will confirm you are eligible and have added it. This way i can keep track of how many backers want them and make sure we don’t go over the 888 quantity.

WHAT IF I’M NOT ELIGIBLE? If you don’t not qualify, or do not wish to add on extra funds to reach £54 and be eligible for adding the Private Reserve, if there are any left over I will open it up for all other backers to add one.

WHEN CAN I ACTUALLY LOCK IN/CLAIM MY DECK? Whether you are eligible now, or wish to wait and see if there are any left over, all of this will take place after the project has ended. Eligible backers will receive their surveys from BackerKit first to claim their decks and any other add-ons. Then after I have the final numbers, everyone else will be sent their surveys and can add one on if there are any left on a first-come first serve basis.

How do I get the GILDED version of the Royales Players Limited edition?

2 ways. Upgrade existing limited editions you have, or Add them on.

Upgrade for £6 per deck: IF Limited editions are included in your current reward level, you can simply edit your pledge total and add on £6 for each deck you wish to upgrade to gilded.

You cannot upgrade a Classic deck to a gilded deck.

Add-On: IF you do not have limited editions included in your pledge, or you would rather not upgrade them, you can add-on the Gilded versions for £21 per deck.

MAXIMUM 4 GILDED DECKS PER BACKER ONLY. (except for backers in the Collectors reward or 24 Split reward, who will automatically get an Gilded upgrade deck included free anyway, which makes a total of 5)

EXAMPLE: If you have 2 limiteds included in your reward and want the maximum 4 gildeds, you can either: - add on 4 gilded decks for £84 (4x21), for a total of 2 limiteds + 4 gilded limiteds. OR - you can upgrade your 2 limiteds for £12 (2x6), and add £42 (2x21) to add-on 2 more Gildeds. Then you will have 4 gilded limited editions total.

How do I 'Add-On' extra items to my reward (like coins, gilded editions...)

To add on any aditional items to your pledge, simply make a note of the cost for adding your item (see the Add-On table on the main page), then click ‘Manage Your Pledge’ button at the top of the main page, then edit your current pledge total amount to now include the cost of the add-ons you want. Click confirm, you’re all done.

The process is the same no matter what item you want to add, or how many.

Do I need to message you when I add extra funds to my pledge for extra items?

You must message me when adding your Private Reserve deck (if you are eligible)

For every other add-on, messaging me is a good way to simply keep a record for yourself and help keep track of amounts you add to your main pledge for any extra items you may want. It’s not necessary, as long as you can remember what you added extra for. Then at the end of the project you will be sent a survey and will have the chance to specify exactly what the extra funds were for, so I can ship all the correct items you want.

Do I qualify for the Free deck offer?

If your Kickstarter Backer Number is between #1 and #724, you will qualify. You do not need to do anything.

The free deck offer ran during the first 24hrs of the campaign launch. This was from July 28th at 6pm UK time (10am PST/1pm EST USA), until July 29th at the same time. Each backer was assigned a number when they pledged, and #724 was the last backer when the time ran out.

Do I need to do anything to tell you I backed within the 24 hrs (regarding the free deck)?

No, you don’t need to do anything. I have a record of who pledge when and will use that to detemine who pledges within the first 24hrs and is therefore eligible for a free deck. (as above)

Which deck do I get as my free deck?

If you qualify for a free deck by pledging for a reward in the first 24hrs (see answer above), you will automatically be eligible to receive a free Royales Classic Edition (Midnight Blue color). If your pledge reward is for 4 or more decks, at the end of the project you will be sent a survey where you will be able to choose between the Classic or Royales ‘Players’ Limited Edition as your free deck.

Will I lose my free deck if I change my pledge tier?

No, you can change your pledge tier as many times as you like to get the the items you want. However, if you CANCEL your pledge, you will lose your backer number and will not get the free deck as your place among the first 24hrs backers will be lost.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
